Joni's Wish

Joni’s Wish is a children’s book written by Variety board member Jon Phillips. The storyline focuses on a little girl named Joni who gets a new bicycle. Joni wants to go on bike rides with her neighbor Carl, but Carl has special needs and can’t ride a regular bicycle. Variety – the Children’s Charity of Iowa steps in and grants Carl a new specialized bike, and Carl and Joni go on adventures where they see how Variety has impacted their community.
