Young Variety of Iowa opens Board of Directors applications for 2021-2022 term

Young Variety, the young professionals’ arm of Variety – the Children’s Charity, has opened applications for the 2021-2022 Board of Directors term. Applications are available through Friday, April 23 to young professionals in the Des Moines metro who are looking to give back to the community, expand their leadership skills, and network with young professionals in central Iowa.
The open Young Variety Board positions include:
- Vice President
- Vice President of Communications
- At-Large (five open)
- Vice President of Events (if vacant)
- Secretary (if vacant)
“Young Variety is a great way for young professionals in central Iowa to give back to the community and have fun while doing it,” said Christina Tim, Young Variety Board President. “Through fundraisers, socials, charity tours and more, Young Variety raises money and awareness for children in Iowa year-round.”
The current Young Variety Board will review the applications and select a candidate for each position based on a majority vote. The incoming Board members will begin their terms on May 1, 2021.
